How do I use Recent Contacts?
The Recent Contacts app sorts your contacts in order of most recently added. You can also sort by most recently modified.
It does so by using data available directly from iOS/Android. Your contacts information is never uploaded or shared outside of the device.
How do I change the sort order?
The two tabs just above the list of contacts control the sort order. By creation date on the left, and by modified date next to it.
The dates seem incorrect?
Recent Contacts does its best to give the most accurate date and time values, but due to iOS/Android limitations, sometimes this might be a bit off.
A few things to try:
- Pull down to force a refresh of the list
- Make sure you are using your desired sort order
- Close and restart the app
- Email kyle@kylegorlick.com for additional help
Also note that a contact sometimes may be modified internally by iOS/Android, affecting the modified date. In this case the date will not reflect the last time that you actually modified it. Recent Contacts currently has no way of detecting the difference.
